Here at Sixothree we are looking forward to 2021. Not only to see the back of 2020 (what a year), but also because next year will be our milestone 10th anniversary.
To celebrate the big anniversary, we’ve set ourselves a fitness challenge! We will be completing 603 miles EACH over the next year – not only to celebrate an amazing achievement but to also raise money for a well-deserved charity. The year-long challenge will involve a mix of running and walking to make sure we cover the miles.
So why 603 miles? The name Sixothree comes from our strapline ‘increasing brand reach’. We help our clients reach potential customers all over the UK and so our name comes from the length of the UK, from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, which is 603 miles (in a straight line).
“We all enjoy exercise at Sixothree and understand the benefits this has on our health and wellbeing. So when we were discussing what to do for our 10th birthday next year, it had to be a fitness challenge! We’ve come a long way as a company over the last 9 years and I’m looking forward to marking this milestone with my wonderful team, whilst raising much needed funds for Children with Cancer UK.” Karen Randall, Founder of Sixothree.
Children with Cancer UK is the leading national children's charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer. For over 30 years they’ve been raising money and funding vital research to save the lives of children with cancer and keep families together. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the charity lost 40% of their funding in 2020. So we’d like to do our part and raise as much money as we can for this incredible charity.
We’ve not been able to spend much time together as a team this year so we’re hoping we’ll be able to walk some of these miles together. If you’d like to join us for some of the distance, get in touch!
We’ll be keeping you updated throughout the year. If you’d like to donate, please head to our JustGiving page.
