Eve shortlisted as Apprentice of the Year at the MPA Awards

MPA awards

We’re delighted to announce that Eve Gokcen, Marketing Assistant at Sixothree Marketing, has been shortlisted for ‘Apprentice of the year’ at the MPA Inspiration Awards, which recognise talent across Manchester.

It came as no surprise but with much pride when we got the news last week that Eve had made it to the shortlist. Eve joined Sixothree as an Apprentice back in September 2021 and has since developed into a confident, passionate Marketing Assistant with a wealth of knowledge and skills.

Eve’s main role at Sixothree is to work on the social media platforms for a wide range of clients. Eve is a master in creating engaging content that adds value to followers and communicating with social media users to increase interest in brands. Her skills now also include website editing, blog writing, improving on-page SEO and email creation, to mention a few!

In her spare time, Eve lends her marketing knowledge and skills to the family kitchen business, managing the social media and content creation. Eve has shown real leadership with this and has put into practice the skills she has picked up along the way during her apprenticeship. She recently organised a successful first birthday party event for the family business, which saw a great number of guests attend and celebrate this milestone.

Eve recently volunteered to run the social media channels during the Made in Manchester Awards, joining the event and live tweeting throughout the night.

As if this all wasn’t enough, Eve is now organising a charity sky dive to raise £50,000 for The Larks, a cancer charity for women living with breast cancer, a charity close to her family. So far, she has already raised over £20,000! Eve has organised the PR for this event, speaking directly with local journalists and spreading the story further.

Eve is our first Apprentice at Sixothree and she has set the standards high! She has gone above and beyond and exceeded all expectations. Eve’s dedication, commitment and enthusiasm hasn’t gone unnoticed. She takes responsibility to continue growing her skills and takes on every new challenge with a positive attitude.

Eve has made herself a key part of the Sixothree team, contributing more and more every day. Now a face of the business, Eve has taken over the Sixothree socials and is regularly putting herself out there creating fun and educational video content.

We have seen Eve flourish within this role and we are looking forward to seeing her confidence and skills grow even more so.

“With Eve on our team, we are confident we can continue to grow and provide a high level of service to our clients. We couldn’t be more grateful to Eve for all her hard work and we are keeping everything crossed for the awards which will be announced in October.” Karen Randall, Director, Sixothree Marketing.

Updated 20 October 2022: We are very proud to announce that Eve won Highly Commended for the Apprentice of the Year Category at the MPA Inspiration Awards. Very well deserved!
