Celebrating over a decade as Sixothree turns 11

As the Christmas lights of 2011 sparkled and Coldplay’s Paradise dominated the charts, Karen Randall’s vision to bring affordable and effective marketing to businesses at all stages of their development came to life. Since then, Sixothree has continued to expand, working with clients both nationally and internationally.

Karen’s experience of over 20 years working for a prominent marketing agency, and independently both with B2B and B2C clients, helped her to identify a niche in the market – the need for cost-effective, results-driven marketing support for SMEs without the resources to recruit and develop an in-house team.

“Essentially, we become the in-house marketing team for our clients without the overheads and complication internal recruitment often entails. Businesses we work with benefit from the dedicated, specialised marketing support they’d expect from a team of experts, knowing their marketing is in safe hands and being given the focus it requires.” Karen explains.

Now from their MediaCity HQ the Sixothree team supports clients at a local, national and international level, servicing a diverse portfolio of industries from a small independent florist to a multi-million pound utility provider.

One such client, Biopac, experienced significant exponential growth with Sixothree’s support, which spanned over seven years. In 2012 the company’s turnover was a respectable £1.5 million – but by 2018 this had swelled to £6.7 million, averaging 30% annual growth. This growth led to interest and ultimately a merger with one of Australia’s leading eco-friendly packaging companies.

Since Sixothree’s inception in 2011, Karen has built a team of handpicked marketing professionals and has also taken on an Apprentice from The Juice Academy and Apprentify, providing invaluable experience and an excellent foundation on which to build a career in marketing.

On their 10-year anniversary, the company marked the occasion with an epic 603-mile challenge spanning 12 months, raising funds for Children with Cancer UK, which the team completed last December.

As another milestone approaches, Karen is reflecting yet again on the company’s longevity and achievements to date. “I’m proud to say that we’ve consistently delivered cost-effective marketing support and continued to secure results for our clients despite the constantly evolving landscape of digital marketing, alongside building strong relationships with the businesses we work with.”

With ambitious growth plans for 2023, the Sixothree team are looking forward to supporting more companies embarking on their journey to success.
