Welcoming our second apprentice – and celebrating our office relocation

This month we’re incredibly pleased to announce that we are welcoming our second apprentice Mia Jones to the team, the first in a number of exciting developments here at Sixothree in August.

As we continue to grow as a company, our close-knit team is also expanding. Apprenticeships represent a fantastic opportunity for budding marketing professionals to gain real-world, hands-on experience within a busy agency setting working with genuine clients. Our diverse client base and versatile portfolio of services offers plenty of food for thought and a firm foundation for young marketers to build their career upon.

Straight away the team were incredibly impressed with Mia, who spoke at length about her love of learning, interest in social media and knowledge of design and analytics.

Mia is already incredibly passionate about digital marketing, and is looking to kickstart her future career with her Sixothree apprenticeship. Having studied both graphic design and English, Mia’s academic skills are matched by a love of working with people and excellent interpersonal skills.

Sharing her thoughts on joining our team, Mia said: “I’m super excited to further my knowledge and showcase my skills and abilities, hopefully bringing good things to the team!”

Mia’s role with us as Digital Marketing Apprentice will be varied and multi-faceted, ensuring she gets experience in every different aspect of digital marketing and business growth during her time with us. She’ll be supporting our talented team and working alongside clients on various projects and marketing activities, from social media content creation and email marketing to website design. All Juice Academy apprentices are also taken care of by a dedicated development coach and are assessed after 16 months, when they will earn their A-level equivalent qualification.

“Mia’s arrival represents another exciting milestone for Sixothree,” says Director Karen. “We are constantly expanding as a business with new projects and clients, so we realised we needed an extra pair of hands. Following the success of Eve’s apprenticeship last year, we knew that welcoming another apprentice to the team was the natural choice for us. We’re all really looking forward to working with Mia and we’re incredibly excited to hear the new ideas and inspiration she will bring to the team.”

Once again, we teamed up with the fabulous team over at Manchester’s Juice Academy, who matched us with Mia. The Juice Academy specialises in connecting talented, enthusiastic young marketing professionals with exciting opportunities within local organisations.

“We’re so pleased to work with Sixothree again after the success they’ve had with Eve, who graduated Juice with a distinction earlier this year. Mia is another great fit for them and for her to have Eve as a mentor is an even better bonus! We look forward to welcoming Mia onto the apprenticeship and seeing her progress with Sixothree, developing her content and digital marketing skills,” explains Juice Academy’s Associate Director Georgia Fitzgerald, who was an integral part of the recruitment process.

Mia’s appointment comes at an especially exciting time as it coincides with our upcoming office move, as we relocate from our existing home in White Tower to a bigger combined office in Tomorrow Building where the whole team can work together more collaboratively. We’re still based in MediaCity just down the road from our current location, but at Tomorrow Building we will be surrounded by more small businesses and independent companies. We’re really looking forward to experiencing the new environment – and meeting our lovely new neighbours!

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Mia and marking another exciting milestone on the Sixothree journey.
